The situation
A proximity switch fails on a line built in 2011.
The manufacturer stopped making it in 2018. Three distributors return “unavailable.” A fourth quotes fourteen weeks. Production is stopped now.
What we do
Two places to look, one day to answer.
Original stock still sitting in Shenzhen’s secondary market — or a current part whose specifications actually match. We check both and tell you what we found, including when the answer is no.
What we do
Two routes to a working machine
Every discontinued-part request goes down one of these two paths. Which one depends on what still exists — not on which is easier for us to sell.
ROUTE 01

Find the original

Shenzhen holds one of the world’s deepest secondary markets for industrial components. Parts that vanished from Western distribution years ago are frequently still here.

  • Checked against Shenzhen stock, our supplier network and the secondary channel
  • Condition verified and stated before you commit
  • Photos of the actual unit on request
  • Manufacturer’s standard warranty on new parts
ROUTE 02

Cross-reference it

When the original is genuinely gone, we identify a current part that matches on the specifications that matter — from our own manufactured line or the Chinese brands we supply.

  • Specification-by-specification comparison, not a lookup table
  • We tell you what differs, not just what matches
  • Mechanical fit checked: thread, barrel length, connector
  • If nothing matches cleanly, we say so
The actual work
A part number that looks close is not a part that works
Anyone can search a catalogue. The work is checking whether the replacement will behave the same way once it is bolted onto your machine — and telling you plainly where it won’t.

This is a real cross-reference for an inductive proximity switch. Four specifications match; the barrel length does not. We would tell you that before you buy, not after it arrives.

Condition stated on every quote
Selling used stock as new is common in this trade. It is also the fastest way to lose a customer permanently. Every non-current part we quote carries one of these three labels.
NEW

Factory sealed

Current production, unopened original packaging. Carries the manufacturer’s standard warranty.

NOS

New old stock

Never used, original packaging, but out of production. Warranty terms stated per item on your quote.

TESTED USED

Pulled and verified

Removed from working equipment and function-tested before dispatch. Photographed before shipping on request.

What we supply
Sourced, and manufactured
Most of what we ship is sourced. Some of it we make — which is why a cross-reference is not always a dead end.

Our own line

Manufactured for us at a fixed partner factory in China
Inductive sensors Proximity switches Relays I/O modules Industrial cable

These are the categories that fail most often and get discontinued soonest — which makes them the ones worth being able to replace ourselves.

How a request moves
From part number to answer
01

You send it

A part number, a nameplate photo, or just the machine and the fault. All three work.

02

We check both routes

Original stock across our channels, and a specification match if the original is gone.

03

You get a real answer

Price, condition, lead time — usually the same working day. Including “we can’t get this one.”

04

One person follows it

The person who quoted your part handles the order through to delivery.

Small supplier.
Proper systems.

The usual worry about a small supplier is that things get lost — no record, no tracking, a different answer every time you ask. We built the systems so that doesn’t happen.

Our story
Why a small team in Shenzhen finds what large distributors can’t

It is not scale. A large distributor searches its own inventory system. If the part is not in it, the answer is “unavailable” — and that is where the process ends. Nobody’s job is to keep looking.

We hold millions of parts in stock, with a 20+ member sales team, a professional engineering team, and 90+ partners worldwide, providing one-stop solutions for manufacturing, petrochemical, power, and other industries.

Most of our customers arrived with one part nobody else could find, and stayed because the second answer was as straight as the first.

Send us the part number
everyone else gave up on

Same-day answer in most cases — including when the answer is no, so you can keep looking elsewhere.
